INNER UNDERSTANDING:  While I would never suggest that astrology alone can enlighten and empower an individual to their highest potential, I will tell you that astrology is an exceptionally potent and invaluable tool in the ongoing process of self-understanding and self-actualization.  We are always becoming.  Astrology can make that becoming easier, more directed, and more purposeful.

My primary interest in astrology – and our concern in working together – is bringing deeper understanding to our inner world.  We bring the astrological tool kit to bear upon the individual psyche, exploring your motivations, needs and desires at both subconscious and conscious levels.  This is not a psychic session.  This is not me telling you about you.  This is an investigative conversation in which we, together, use the symbolic map and sign posts of astrology to ask pointed questions.  This is a conversation in which the astrological indicators reveal potential answers… answers we can discuss, and which, together, we can make meaningful and applicable.  We tease out greater details in relation to personal strengths and weakness, including those that are hidden or underdeveloped.  We discuss possibilities for magnifying and directing the strengths, so that you may  further empower these natural gifts and talents.  We illuminate the places of resistance, insecurity and wounding, most of which lurk in our subconscious psyche, and we discuss potential remedies that may provide these shadow places with acceptance and integration, so that weakness transforms into strength.  And we dig deeper into your personal sense of identity and purpose, uncovering key aspects of self that may have lain hidden or dormant, and providing new guidance and greater clarity on your journey ahead.

In our time together, we examine an area of life  – your choice: career, partnerships, children, health, finances, home, friends, identity, sense of purpose, hopes and dreams… the book you’re writing, the fight you’re having, the spiritual debate you’re engaged in at church (or within your own heart and mind), the business you’re building, the vacation you’re planning, the agony and distress you’re feeling with the passing of your mother, etc.  – and we uncover, examine and question the inner aspects of the psyche that reflect the issue.  In the process, not only do we learn more about the workings of our own, personal, inner self, we learn more about how we project ourselves into the world around us.  We learn more about how we engage and interact with the world.  We learn more about the nature and workings of the world – and of reality – itself.  In short, we learn more about the dynamic relationship between our inner and outer worlds, and how these apparently separate realities are ONE.  With the help of the astrological map, we work to make what is unconscious, conscious.
